Whistlers Mother

Directed by Robbie Robertson · Starring Jennifer Christa Palmer, Barbara Hawkins-Scott, Bryce Harper, Samuel R Moody · 2018

Painter James McNeill Whistler labours over his famous portrait of his mother, not for art's sake, but to save her from possession by the witch Baba Yaga.

A clever horror reimagining of the story behind one of art history's most famous paintings.

Whistler's Mother premiered in Screamfest 2019.
