Will You Look At Me

Directed by Shuli Huang · 2022

A young Chinese filmmaker returns to his hometown searching for himself, and a long-overdue conversation with his mother draws them both into a painful search for acceptance and love.

An intimate, unflinching personal documentary that won both the Queer Palm at Cannes and a Sundance jury award.
