A portrait of Iraq.

Shot on 16mm film during trips to Iraqi Kurdistan, a series of silent moving portraits of people met along the way.

Quiet, intimate 16mm portraits that show Iraqi Kurdistan through the faces of its people.

Since the spring of 2016, I’ve made three trips to Iraqi Kurdistan. On my most recent trip, I brought a 16mm film camera and a few cans of film to capture portraits of people I met along the way.
