An Object at Rest

Directed by Seth Boyden · Starring Miles Hartfelder, Zero Pilnik, Sarah Parsons, Philip M. Hofman · 2015

Over thousands of years, a lone stone drifts across a changing landscape, until the rise of human civilization turns its slow, peaceful existence upside down.

A witty, beautifully animated sweep through Earth's history, seen from the patient point of view of a single rock.

The life of a stone as it travels over the course of millennia, facing nature's greatest obstacle: human civilization.
