Freeze Frame

Directed by Soetkin Verstegen · 2019

Identical figures perform the hopeless task of preserving blocks of ice, and their repetitive movements bring the animals trapped inside back to fleeting life.

A mesmerizing stop-motion experiment made with real ice that meditates on time, memory and preservation.
