I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly
With Burl Ives, from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Directed by Derek Lamb · Starring Burl Ives · 1964
An animated take on the cumulative folk song about an old lady who keeps swallowing ever bigger animals to catch the fly.
A charming vintage NFB cartoon of the classic nonsense song kids still sing.
This short animation film is cartoon illustration of the eponymous nonsense song by Canadian folksinger Alan Mills.
