NAILS
Directed by Phillip Borsos · 1979
From a lone blacksmith hammering out nails by hand at his forge to the thundering machines of a modern nail mill, this Oscar-nominated documentary traces how industrialization transformed our relationship to work.
An Oscar-nominated contrast between a blacksmith's patient forge and the deafening, hypnotic roar of a modern nail factory.
