New York Farm City

Filmed in reverse, from harvest back to seed, this wordless film tours New York's rooftop farms and community gardens to show how vegetables grow in the city.

A clever reverse-motion trick shows urban farming in New York in a fresh, quietly delightful way.

In order to show how vegetables are grown in New York, we reversed what the plants do: We harvest in spring what we filmed in fall.
