Short of the Week
Velodrool
Directed by Sander Joon · 2016
Out of cigarettes and desperate, a chain-smoking cyclist enters a bizarre, unpredictable velodrome race in the hope of feeding his habit.
A wildly inventive, wordless Estonian cartoon that turns a bike race into gloriously absurd, darkly funny chaos.
An addicted biker runs out of cigarettes, so joins an unpredictable race to get more. Festival favourite from Estonian animator Sander Joon.
